Case Study #7 | Hiring Credits/WOTC | National Products Company

Overview:
A national wholesaler with a multi-state footprint has facilities and employees throughout the United States. The company serves customers in the food processing, industrial process piping, pool/spa construction, and water treatment sectors. The company wholesales more than 13,000 types of products for water management and conservation.

Challenge:
The employees were in a combination of isolated locations as well as centralized regional offices. The employees were also a blend of exempt and non-exempt personnel. Multiple hiring processes were in place, which made it difficult to screen and qualify job applicants for hiring-related tax credits. The company was also working with a WOTC consultant and only screening for that particular Federal credit.

Solution:
EIAG was able to develop standardization in the screening process and was able to centralize the systems to secure hiring-related tax credits. EIAG was also able to identify and generate tax credits and training grants that the company was missing in the past.

Results:
EIAG was able to create a more efficient process for the client and maximized their overall hiring credits and training grants by taking a broader approach to hiring incentives.
